Hello Visitor,  

Welcome to the website for Old Montana Construction featuring custom carpentry, cabinet installation, and my own brand of industrial design. My name is Mark Armstrong and I am a second generation descendant of some of Montana's turn-of-the-century pioneers. I was born and grew up in Helena and my grandparents were homesteaders in the Fromberg area near Billings beginning in 1910. It is their perseverance and work ethic that I use as a model when I am called upon for my services. Like them, I will bring the utmost in dedication to any project I may have the privilege of contributing to. 

I have over 51 years of experience in the field of construction in many different trades including residential and commercial aspects of foundation work, structural steel erection, load bearing and partition steel stud framing, wood framing, exterior finish work, and interior finish work. I recently received a degree in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD) at Gallatin College on the campus of Montana State University in Bozeman and I also taught courses in Architectural Materials & Construction Methods and Descriptive Geometry for a couple of years. 

I plan to use this knowledge and experience to assist my clients in the design and installation of quality projects of all types. I believe we are an exceptional carpentry company that can assist you in bringing any project you have in mind to completion at the highest standards possible.

Where practical, I personally supervise each job to ensure this promise and make sure these projects are done to a client's complete satisfaction. I am convinced that my personal involvement and interaction with my clients is the only way for me to accomplish this goal.

I have spent a great deal of time designing this site to make it interesting and easy to navigate and, if you take time to explore it, you will be richly rewarded by the way in which the information has been organized. It should also be a great help in making the many decisions that come with the carpentry design and performance portion of your project.
